MEET THE TEAM
The Faces of Our Organization
Oscar is originally from Hampshire but started Newcastle University in 2018 and fell in love with the City. After being involved in charity work in Newcastle over Covid-19 lockdown, Oscar saw an opportunity to further his work by creating Street Art Initiative. A keen entrepreneur, he is always looking to solve problems and give people the leg up that he has been lucky enough to have. Oscar is no longer at university but continues to live and work in his new home in the North East.
Originally from Cambridge, Imi is a Fine Art student studying in her 2nd year at Newcastle University. Passionate about the benefits of art to people from all backgrounds, she is excited to be involved and see Street Art flourish so the homeless community around the UK can fully reap the benefits of our objectives
After graduating from Newcastle University this year Paree decided to move back to Newcastle with the aim to help give back to the local community around her. During lockdown she has rediscovered the benefits of art and is keen to be part of an organisation that empowers others through art. She has been involved in various charity projects globally, but is excited to have a more hands on role in the community where she lives.
Jessica is a psychology student from Newcastle University and is currently on a placement year in the south of England. Being interested in the psychological benefits of what this project could bring to people she reached out to get involved. The plan is for Jessica to run the initiative in the Reading area and she is very excited to be a part of the organisation.
As a 3rd year Art History student, Street Art Initiative seemed like the perfect place for Sicilia to try to make a difference in the local area. She is originally from Hertfordshire but has moved up here for university. Her background knowledge of the field and a family life that has always entered around the art world helped to spark her interest in our charity. She is working on the team to help expand both the clientele base and the artists that she hopes to help get back on their feet.
